Hello! My name is Moritz Engelhardt. I am PhD student at the research group of Prof. Jessica Freiherr at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg. My research interest lies in the intersection between neuroscience, data science and human olfaction. My PhD project revolves around smell loss after COVID-19, a problem that affects millions of patients worldwide, but doesn't nearly get enough attention. I am interested in how these symptoms are related with other Post Covid symptoms, and how Olfactory Training can be used to restore the sense of smell in these patients.
